The weekend is here.  Relaxing over a cup of coffee and we heard a noise outside. 
The 1st load of lumber has arrived.  Framer scheduled to start Monday.

Just got home from Oklahoma City for our daughter's wedding.  Great time
The rain has been terrible here but had several dry days while we were gone.  To our surprise the plummer has been busy while were were in Oklahoma.  Looks like the plumming is done.  If the rain holds off maybe we will get to pour the slab this week.

The form is coming along nicely.  We have not had any rain to speak of recently so we are hoping the slab will be poured next week.

After being out of town for several days we came home to find a pad had been built.  Very excited.  Hopefully we will begin making good progress now.

Getting Started

OK, it is almost Christmas 2011 and we are in the beginning stages of our new home.  We have our plans and have delivered them to our builder.
